Grand Hotel Malahide

I recently stayed at a luxurious hotel on the seafront, right on the coast by the Irish Sea. The location was absolutely stunning, with picturesque views and just a few minutes' walk from a quaint village. The hotel's service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were always approachable and friendly. The room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The hotel also offered excellent dining options, with a restaurant that served a delicious continental breakfast.

This hotel is highly recommended for families, as it provides a range of services and facilities that cater to all ages.

Breakfast is available, and the view from the hotel provides stunning vistas of the fishing village. The hotel is situated near essential amenities providing convenient transport. The reception girl displayed exceptional customer service, and the room was very cosy and had plenty of light. Fresh floral arrangements throughout the building added to the atmosphere that merits return trips to the property.

As a business traveler, I loved the fantastic location of the hotel near Dublin. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-kept, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, and some even offered a view of the sea.

Great central location in a lively village, close to shops, cafes, and restaurants. Across from the beach with lovely walks. Excellent breakfast with a view of the coast. Impressive updates to the breakfast room and revolving doors. Convenient access to the village, even without a car.

The hotel had spacious rooms with comfortable beds and blackout curtains, allowing for a restful sleep. The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and all the local restaurants. We were disappointed to find out that the hotel's currency exchange rate was not the most competitive, resulting in extra expenses.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had the best stay, and it showed in their excellent service.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the city. It was convenient to have large seating areas in the hotel, as it made it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. the combination of traditional features and modern amenities was a great touch, and added to the overall charm of the hotel.

There was a strong smell of diesel/petrol in the hallway leading to my room, which was quite unpleasant. the breakfast situation was extremely disorganized.

We stayed at a hotel with an excellent seaside location, just steps away from the beach in this beautiful waterfront city north of Dublin. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We loved the easy access to transportation, including the DART train which takes you straight into downtown Dublin. Plus, the breakfast was delicious with a fantastic view from the dining room.

We had a fantastic fifth family visit to this hotel. The surrounding area is beautiful, and our children felt right at home. The staff, especially Victoria at reception, were friendly and efficient. We were even able to access our room an hour before check-in time, which was a pleasant surprise. The pool was a hit with our children, although it was a shame they had to leave by 7pm. The breakfast spread was delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. The spacious room comfortably accommodated our family. Despite some worn areas on the carpet, the overall aesthetics were pleasing. We all slept well and had a great stay. We look forward to returning next year. I would highly recommend this hotel.
